Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be warmly greeted by the Himalayan Motorbike Tours representatives. They will assist you and ensure your smooth transfer to the hotel. During your stay, there will be a short but insightful briefing about the upcoming Upper Mustang Motorcycle Tour, preparing you for the adventure that lies ahead.

Day 02: Ride Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 Km)

Fuel up with breakfast before embarking on the journey. Navigate the bustling streets of Kathmandu, leaving the urban chaos behind as you ride out of the valley. If the weather permits, catch a breathtaking glimpse of the majestic Annapurna Mountain range along the way. Reach Pokhara, a serene city by the lakeside, where you'll rest for the night.

Day 03: Ride Pokhara to Kalopani (130 Km)

Today marks the entrance into the realm of Mustang. Brace yourself for an off-road adventure as you traverse unpaved, gravel-strewn tracks to Kalopani. The rugged roads present a genuine challenge for riders, a true test of your riding prowess that is perfectly suited to your level of experience.

Day 04: Ride Kalopani to Muktinath (46 Km)

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast, then hit the road towards Jomsom, where your permit will be checked. Along the route, relish the stunning vistas of Mount Nilgiri and the meandering Kali Gandaki River. Make your way to Muktinath, a sacred site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 05: Ride Muktinath to Ghami via Jhong (74 Km)

After breakfast, rev up your bike for another thrilling day of riding. Today, your route takes you through new roads as you journey towards Chhuksang via Jhong. The changing landscape and unique trails promise an exhilarating experience.

Day 06: Ride Ghami to Lo Manthang (26 Km)

The day starts with breakfast, followed by a ride to Lo Manthang via Tsarang. This leg of the journey will lead you to the heart of the festival experience. Lo Manthang offers the backdrop for the first day of the Tiji Festival, a vibrant celebration you'll be privileged to witness.

Day 07: Excursion day in Lo-Manthang: Second day of Tiji Festival Lo-Manthang with Mask Dance

As the Tiji Festival continues, immerse yourself in the cultural extravaganza. The second day of the festival presents the captivating dances performed by Tibetan Lamas. These dances hold ancient significance, aimed at dispelling hunger and negative energies from the region. After breakfast, ride to Karola Border, a Nepal-Tibet border crossing situated approximately 21 km away. Return along the same trail and explore Chosar Ghumba and Shinja Cave. The day's adventure concludes with a ride back to Kagbeni, where you'll rest for the night.

Day 09: Ride to Tatopani via Marpha Village (75 km)

Today's ride leads you to the soothing embrace of Tatopani's hot springs, offering a well-deserved respite after days of riding. As you relax and rejuvenate, celebrate your journey with the crew, reflecting on the experiences shared.

Day 10: Ride to Pokhara (105 Km)

Bid farewell to the hot springs and set forth on the route back to Pokhara. Retrace your path while reminiscing about the incredible landscapes and memories created.

Day 11: Ride Pokhara to Kathmandu

This leg of the journey takes you alongside the Gandaki and Trishuli Rivers, as you make your way back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the scenic ride, soaking in the last moments of this remarkable adventure.

Day 12: Departure

Your unforgettable Upper Mustang Motorcycle Tour journey concludes. After breakfast, the Himalayan Motorbike Tours team will ensure your timely transfer to the Kathmandu airport for your departure, bidding you farewell with memories that will last a lifetime.

What's Included
  • Arrival and Departure Airport transfer in a private car, accompanied by an English-speaking representative.
  • 04 nights accommodation on twin/triple sharing basis at 3* hotel OR Similar in Kathmandu, Pokhara on the bed and breakfast basis. Inclusive of all the government taxes. (Currently 24.3 %).
  • Motorbike rental: 500 CC Classic Royal Enfield Motorcycles.
  • Normal maintenance charge and spare parts of bikes and Fuel as engine oil top-up(Whichever applicable) for the entire trip.
  • Services of an experienced Mechanic including the cost for their meals, accommodations, daily allowances, and insurance.
  • Back-up support of 01 vehicles throughout the trip inclusive of fuel and 01 driver; his daily allowance/accommodation and all meals.
  • Guesthouse throughout the ride on twin/triple sharing room on full board (breakfast, lunch, and Dinner) basis and inclusive of all applicable govt. taxes.
  • Insurance of all Nepalese Staff.
  • TIMS permit, ACAP permit, Restricted Areas Permit - $500+ per person value.
